Stormwater Mangagement System in Braidwood, IL

Walsh, Long & Company supported the development of a retail petroleum travel center in Braidwood, Illinois by delivering a HydroChain S-29B underground detention system from Xerxes. The reinforced composite installation included 2,425 chambers providing approximately 112,000 cubic feet of stormwater storage and infiltration across 39,000 square feet of site area. By locating the system underground, the project preserved valuable surface area that would otherwise be dedicated to a traditional retention pond, allowing full utilization of the site footprint while meeting local regulatory requirements.
